About Me
I am a San Diego-based artist, graphic designer and photographer. I specialize in Family, Maternity, Newborn, Engagement and Portrait photography.
I graduated with a B.A. in Applied Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Graphic Design from San Diego State University in 2005. Today I am happily married and the proud mom of two young sons. My little boys are my greatest inspiration and, of course, my most photographed subjects! Ever since I became a mom, I have developed a special love for photographing babies, children and families.
Although art was my first love, I always maintained an interest in photography, taking pictures of landscapes, still lifes and real estate. Eventually, my interest in photography evolved into a serious passion that has become the creative, exciting and professional outlet that I enjoy today. I am captivated by the pursuit of capturing the range of life’s milestones such as engagement portraits, pregnancy shoots, newborns, and growing families. It is a joy and honor to be a part of these special moments in peoples’ lives.
The entire process of photography is immensely important to me, thus I take great care through every phase, from staging and taking the photographs to the complete attention I dedicate during post-production. My education in graphic design and the skills that I developed through my studies and experience have allowed me to give my photographs a unique edge. I take particular pride in the focus I apply to the detailed editing of each and every image, to make certain it is the best it can be.
My photographs reflect those special instances that exist somewhere between posed sittings and candid moments. I am always trying to capture the essence of my subjects, the feeling of the moment and the aesthetic of the setting.
Through it all, the most fulfilling part for me remains the moment I can receive a thrilled and priceless reaction from a satisfied client upon the viewing of their completed photos.
I look forward to working with you and capturing your special moments!
